| First we did Black Temple. We killed Mother Sharaz, the Council, and Illidan. This raid went by significantly faster than previous raids to BT, and only required two non-guild players help. Great job guys, I think we're getting to the point where we can run guild-only raids in a reasonable amount of time. Then we did Tempest Keep... Several players were not able to stay, so our group of 10 dropped to 8, and eventually 6 at one point. That's ok, because we only did Al'ar (the giant rainbow bird). Next time we do TK, please make sure you have a flying mount, as it is impossible to walk from Netherstorm on to the ship that the instance is located on. Also, there was a significant problem with other players pulling aggro. Unfortunately, TK is designed such that trash mobs will always attack in groups of two or three. Please note that in this case, the tank has to build aggro with not one but three mobs. While they may charge him, they will not necessarily regard him with high threat unless he is directly attacking them. Thus, it is important that the following NOT happen in order to pull aggro: - Healing too soon, or too often
- Using Area of Effect (AoE) spells/attacks, such as Arcane Explosion, Holy Nova, etc...
- Attacking a target not currently targeted by the tank
- Targeting the tank's target, but then choosing your own target after his target dies
The best way to avoid pulling aggro for DPS players is to - Select the tank, then press F (or type /target). This will target the tank's target.
- Wait until it is apparent that the tank IS attacking that target (i.e., the health starts to go down... similar to the "DPS at 98%" rule for bosses)
- Attack, being sure to not use any attacks that take aggro
- When that target dies, STOP ATTACKING and let the tank find a new target
- Repeat process for tank's new target
For simplicity's sake, I drew everyone a picture: | |

| You almost forgot that we also killed Supremus while we were in BT as well. And the picture is pretty awesome but I think I have a better one. | |
