Hiatus on raid recaps

Hey guys,

Just letting you know I won't be posting raid recaps anymore unless something absolutely warrants it. We're starting to get larger, which has the following effects:

Good:

• Raids go by faster
  
• We can do more bosses and more raids
  
• People are forming friendships and stuff
  
• People are taking guild raids more seriously
  
• Very little ninja activity :-)

Bad:

• People are looting corpses while the tank is in combat
  
• People are not targeting the tank's target
  
• People are not following the tank closely enough on runs, and pulling random trash
  
• People are not confessing when they do any of the above - please note that confession will almost always result in forgiveness :-)
  
• Healers are overhealing and pulling aggro
  
• Holy Priests are DPSing with Holy spells when they have Inspiration active as a Holy talent
  
• Warlocks are using Life Tap but still expect heals

Take a good look at those lists, figure out what you're doing right and what you may be doing wrong. If you see someone doing something incorrectly, whisper them and let them know. If they keep doing it, let the raid leader know. If anyone can think of anything else (good or bad) please post in this thread.

Anyways, no more raid recaps is sort of a good thing, because it means that we as a guild are starting to figure out our strategies. I'm really proud of everyone for figuring out the Sunwell, whose trash makes it almost impossible to run. I'm also not going to be posting them because now we're starting to see more than one or two players who stand out.

Well Said About Sunwell I don't think I've been there since we all got screwed but it's nice to see that some tactics have been put into place.

People making pretty little Imbuded Netherweave hand bags while raiding. No one died but it sets a very bad example especially when its an Officer. Again it was only kara.

I don't know, the amount of goofing around should scale based on the raid. With kara there is really nothing to worry about as long as someone doesnt run around and pull all the mobs. However when we run Sunwell, that raid requires a bit more coordination and 0 screwing around since we seem to bomb it at multiple points. I guess it all depends on whether it is a "fun run" or "oh shit, Tank got knocked off his mount and there are 14 mobs around"

Lol. Yeah, we were making fun of Tank (on Ethyne) for making Imbued NW bags in Kara. Definitely need to keep it in perspective, fun is fun as long as it doesn't result in a big wipe... because that's never fun :-(

yeah i'm really REALLY starting to hate sunwell. they've definitely fucked withe the scripts there because i can't outrun the damn mobs and when they hit me from behind (which they obviously are because they're chasing me) i can't dodge, block or parry and it's only a matter of time before i get dismounted and we're surrounded by mobs. so it's like can't get away + can't turn around to defend = FUCKED.

but with a pally leading the charge with crusader aura that really seemed to help and i think that might be our final solution to the problem of the jew... er, i mean running SWP.

Yeah I think we've found something that actually works better than me running and pulling aggro then feigning death.
